Gamma Pricing (2026): Plans, Credits and Team Costs
Gamma Free, Plus, Pro and Ultra prices verified October 2026. Compare credits, exports, annual billing and solo or team costs.

Gamma pricing starts at $0, and Free already exports PDF and PowerPoint files. Plus is $12 per seat monthly; Pro is $25, and earns the upgrade when you need detailed analytics, custom domains or API access. Choose by the feature you need, then check whether its AI allowance covers your usage.
Gamma is an AI presentation and document maker that also publishes websites. Plan prices and published allowances verified against Gamma's pricing page, 1 October 2026. The figures below are US dollars per seat, before applicable tax. Credit behavior, font availability and export details are checked against Gamma's current help pages, cited where they matter.
Gamma Pricing at a Glance
The monthly payment and the advertised annual monthly equivalent are different amounts. Annual billing collects the full year upfront; it does not turn Pro into an $18 month-to-month subscription.
Individual-plan inputs come from Gamma's live pricing page; organization-plan inputs come from its Business tab. Pro includes Plus, and Ultra includes Pro, so the advertised 100-slide-per-prompt allowance also applies to those individual tiers. Business's public page does not itemize that same generation limit, so it is not assigned one here.

For a solo consultant who only needs a client deck without the Gamma badge, Plus is the first paid option to consider. Pro becomes useful when the way you publish, protect or measure the deck matters to the job.
Gamma AI Pricing: Where the Free Tier Stops
Free can finish an occasional presentation; its AI allowance is a starter balance. You receive 400 credits at signup, with no recurring refill. The AI prompt can create up to 10 slides, and the pricing page already includes PDF and PPTX import plus PDF, PPTX, PNG and Google Slides export. Gamma pricing.
The practical boundary is AI usage. Once the starter credits are spent, further AI work needs earned referral credits or a paid plan. Manual editing and non-AI features remain available. The Free plan has no time limit, requires no credit card, and its initial credits do not expire. You can add slides manually; the prompt limit is not a lifetime limit on the content you can maintain. Gamma's credit guide, subscription guide.
For a founder preparing an occasional investor update, Free can be enough if its remaining credits cover the draft and the Gamma badge is acceptable. For an operator updating an existing internal document by hand, recurring AI credits may add little value. Neither situation automatically calls for a subscription.
Uploaded fonts are available on all plans, according to Gamma's current dashboard guide. A brand font alone is therefore a weak reason to buy Pro. Paid brand controls, including headers and footers, are a separate purchase decision.
Free PDF and PowerPoint exports carry Gamma branding. Any active paid individual plan removes it from future exports. Check that distinction before paying for an export format you already have. Export guide.
What Plus, Pro and Ultra Buy
Plus pays for clean delivery; Pro pays for publishing control; Ultra pays for heavier AI use and model access. The correct upgrade follows a missing capability in your actual workflow.
Plus: The First Paid Stop for Client Decks
Gamma Plus costs $12 per seat monthly or $108 per seat annually. It supplies 1,000 monthly credits, removes Gamma branding, adds advanced AI image models and raises generation to 100 slides per prompt. All Free import and export formats remain included. Gamma pricing.
For a consultant sending a PDF proposal, removing the badge can be the purchase that matters. If you want AI-generated images beyond the basic choices, Plus also expands that selection. You do not need Pro just to generate a longer deck or download a PPTX.
The constraint is still the monthly credit allowance. Image choices and repeated AI revisions can consume it even when the final deck is short. Choose Plus when its features meet the brief and its allowance covers the work; look at actual usage before assuming Pro is necessary.
Pro: Buy It for Brand, Tracking or Automation
Gamma Pro costs $25 per seat monthly or $216 per seat annually. It includes 4,000 monthly credits, premium AI image models, custom branding, detailed analytics, advanced sharing, API access and publication on up to 10 custom domains. Gamma pricing.
An agency owner sharing a proposal as a Gamma link can use detailed analytics to understand viewer engagement. A business publishing a branded Gamma website needs the custom-domain allowance. A technical operator connecting Gamma to another workflow needs API access, the programmatic connection between apps. These are concrete reasons to pay for Pro.
Gamma's subscription guide also lists headers, footers and password protection on Pro. If you send branded, protected client material every week, those controls may justify the tier even before its larger credit allowance matters.
At monthly rates, Pro adds $13 per seat over Plus and supplies 3,000 more monthly credits. That is the comparison to make: does the job need the added controls, or does your recurring credit usage justify the difference?
Ultra: More Capacity Without an Output Guarantee
Gamma Ultra costs $100 per seat monthly or $1,080 per seat annually. It includes 20,000 monthly credits, access to the most advanced text, image and video models, up to 100 custom domains and early access to new features. It retains Pro's controls. Gamma pricing.
The page's “20× more AI usage” description compares its allowance with Plus: 20,000 divided by 1,000. Compared with Pro's 4,000, Ultra supplies five times the monthly credits. That distinction matters when you are deciding whether to spend another $75 per month.
Ultra fits someone generating substantial amounts of AI content or needing its advanced models and larger domain allowance. A senior operator making routine board slides should establish a specific reason for those additions. The higher price does not guarantee a better story, a polished export or a particular number of finished presentations.

Gamma AI Credits: What Uses Them
Credits measure AI work, and the current system meters generation on paid plans too. Creating a presentation with AI consumes credits per slide and image; generating or editing images, editing with Agent, adding slides with AI and trying new layouts also draw from the allowance. API use consumes AI credits as well. The amount depends on the action, model, length and complexity, and Gamma displays image-generation costs before you generate. Manual editing does not require AI credits, and non-AI features remain available when the balance is empty; AI errors and clarification requests are not charged. A credit allowance therefore cannot honestly be translated into a fixed number of decks without knowing the job and model choices. Gamma's credit guide, pricing FAQ.
On both monthly and annual subscriptions, credits refresh monthly. Paying for a year does not deliver the year's allocation in advance. Unused plan credits roll over to a maximum balance of twice the monthly allowance: 2,000 on Plus, 8,000 on Pro and 40,000 on Ultra. Those are total balance caps, including the current allocation. Pricing FAQ, credit guide.
Separately purchased credits sit outside that rollover cap. Gamma uses plan credits first, then purchased credits, then workspace credits if applicable. Purchased credits do not expire while your subscription remains active; cancellation starts their separate expiry rule. Plan credits expire when the paid subscription ends. Check the credit-purchase terms before stockpiling a balance.
Compare Credit Spend Before Upgrading
The public pricing page confirms that paid subscribers can buy additional credits but does not publish a top-up dollar rate. Use the actual Billing purchase quote when comparing extra usage with an upgrade. A light Plus user can buy extra credits without automatically needing Pro's feature set; Free users must upgrade before purchasing credits. Pricing FAQ, credit-purchase guide.
For a recurring month, moving from Plus to Pro costs $13 more and adds 3,000 credits. If the extra-credit quote for the usage you need exceeds that difference, and Pro's allowance covers it, Pro has the lower base-plus-usage cost. If the quote is lower and the Pro controls do not matter, keep Plus. Apply the same billing period to both sides.
Dividing subscription spend by the included allowance gives $12 per 1,000 monthly credits on Plus, $6.25 on Pro and $5 on Ultra with monthly billing. Using annual effective rates gives $9, $4.50 and $4.50 respectively. These calculations allocate the subscription fee across its credits; they are not Gamma's top-up prices. They also include feature access, so they do not establish which plan is best by themselves.
Monthly vs Annual Billing: When a Year Pays Back
Annual billing makes sense when you will use enough paid months to recover the upfront charge. Gamma's “save up to 28%” banner describes the largest tier discount, not the saving on every plan. Calculated from the live pricing rates:
- Plus: 12 monthly payments cost $144. Annual costs $108, saving $36, or 25%.
- Pro: 12 monthly payments cost $300. Annual costs $216, saving $84, or 28%.
- Ultra: 12 monthly payments cost $1,200. Annual costs $1,080, saving $120, or 10%.
For one person, those annual charges are the amount to put on the card. The lower monthly equivalents are useful for budgeting across the year, but the money leaves upfront.
Compare only the months you expect to need a paid plan within that year. Plus reaches a tie at nine monthly payments and becomes cheaper annually at ten. Pro becomes cheaper annually at nine paid months. Ultra becomes cheaper annually at eleven. The calculations assume the stated prices, no refund and no extra credit purchases.

For an operator who needs Pro during only five months of the year, monthly subscriptions total $125. An annual subscription costs $216, or $91 more, even though its advertised monthly equivalent is lower. This is why the number of active months belongs beside the discount percentage.
Cancellation preserves access until the current billing period ends, and your created content remains accessible afterward. A downgrade can restrict advanced features. Refunds have separate timing and credit-usage conditions, and cancelling does not automatically refund the annual payment. Read the current refund policy before treating annual billing as a reversible monthly experiment.
Gamma Student Discount
Gamma's pricing page does not advertise a student-specific price or a discount code in this verification. Students can use the same Free plan. Budget from the published annual rates unless Gamma confirms a separate offer for your account; a coupon on another website is not a verified reduction to your bill. Gamma pricing.
Gamma App Pricing for a Team
Multiply the seat rate by every paid workspace member, then budget their credit usage separately. On Plus, Pro and Ultra, Gamma charges an additional seat when an invited member accepts. A colleague joining the paid workspace can therefore change the bill immediately. Pricing FAQ.
For five paid members, the subscription costs are:
- Plus: $60/month with monthly billing, or $540/year upfront, equivalent to $45/month.
- Pro: $125/month with monthly billing, or $1,080/year upfront, equivalent to $90/month.
- Ultra: $500/month with monthly billing, or $5,400/year upfront, equivalent to $450/month.
The five-person Pro workspace does not have one freely transferable credit pot. Each member has an individual 4,000-credit monthly allowance. An idle colleague's allocation cannot simply be transferred to the person doing all the generation. Auto-recharge on individual plans also charges separately for each member whose balance triggers a purchase. Credit guide, credit-purchase guide.
For an agency, buy the working creators' seats deliberately. Ask whether the proposed workspace membership and the available sharing controls suit a client review before sending an invitation. Treat the base seat bill, credit purchases and tax as separate budget lines.
Business and Enterprise: Buy Organization Controls
Gamma's current Business tab offers Business at $480 per seat annually, equivalent to $40 per seat per month. It lists 10,000 monthly credits per seat, shared workspace credits for extra usage, SSO authentication and advanced data controls. SSO means staff can sign in through the company's identity system. For ten purchased seats, the base cost is $4,800 upfront annually, or $400 a month in the budget. Business pricing.
Enterprise has a custom annual agreement and adds advanced administration, connector and API governance, provisioning and dedicated onboarding. These features matter to a mid-market CTO managing company access; they do not make a solo deck more attractive.
The current tab shows Business and Enterprise. Its public plan cards do not specify a seat minimum or a separate monthly Business rate, so neither is assumed here. A ten-seat example is arithmetic, not a purchase minimum. Confirm the seat count and full annual charge in the offered checkout or quote.
PDF, PowerPoint and Google Slides: Check the Handoff
Paying for Pro does not remove the need to inspect the exported file. Free already offers the export formats, and Plus already removes Gamma branding. The remaining decision is whether the recipient receives the artifact they need.
For PDF or PPTX, open Share > Export, choose All cards and select the format. Gamma says exports follow Present Mode. Its Google Slides handoff uses an exported PPTX uploaded into Slides. Google Slides substitutes its own fonts for those embedded in the PowerPoint file, and Gamma's exports do not include a PowerPoint slide master or Google Slides Theme Builder layout. Gamma export guide.
For a consultant handing a deck to a client's brand team, the font substitution and missing master can create extra finishing work. Inspect a representative export in the destination app before committing to a year. Choose PDF when preserving the delivered appearance matters more than editable slide structure.
For documents, Word DOCX export is not currently supported on any Gamma plan, according to the same guide. If the client contract calls for an editable Word document, an upgrade will not supply that export. Resolve the format requirement before choosing the tier.
The Gamma badge follows the workspace's plan at export time. A deck created while you were paid can carry the badge when exported after the subscription ends. Keep the plan active through the required delivery if a clean export is part of the purchase.
Gamma vs Beautiful.ai and Google Slides With AI
Gamma vs Beautiful.ai
Beautiful.ai is a presentation maker with Smart Slide layouts, AI content generation, custom brand styling and PowerPoint import/export; compare it with Gamma when the deliverable is a deck. Beautiful.ai pricing.

Beautiful.ai Pro is $14.50/month billed annually, or a calculated $174/year, versus Gamma Pro's $216/year; its $45 monthly option costs $20 more than Gamma Pro's $25 monthly payment.
Beautiful.ai is our partner. It is worth considering for a presentation-focused, branded workflow; choose Gamma when the same subscription must also cover documents or published web pages, and check the exported artifact before deciding.
Gamma vs Google Slides + SlidesAI
Google Slides is a browser presentation editor available to anyone with a Google Account; SlidesAI adds AI presentation generation inside that workflow. Google Slides, SlidesAI.

SlidesAI's current USD promotion lists Pro at $84/year, equivalent to $7/month, with 120 presentations/year and a 6,000-character input limit per presentation: $24/year less than Gamma Plus's $108; the personal Slides editor adds no subscription charge. SlidesAI pricing.
Choose this route when the handoff should stay in Google Slides; choose Gamma Plus for its broader content formats, and check SlidesAI's promotional checkout and renewal terms because its credits and input limits are a different meter.

For a wider shortlist by delivery requirement, see the AI presentation makers comparison. Use the current vendor rates here when budgeting these options.
Who Should Pay for Pro, and Who Should Stay Free?
Stay Free until a specific limitation blocks the next finished deliverable. A founder making an occasional pitch, or an operator updating an existing internal document manually, can stay there while the starter AI allowance and badge suit the work.
Pay for Plus when removing Gamma branding, using advanced image models or refreshing AI credits solves the problem. Pay for Pro when detailed viewer analytics, protected branded sharing, publication on your own domains or an API connection is part of the job. Evaluate Ultra when the measured workload or advanced-model requirement exceeds what Pro offers. Buy Business or Enterprise when company access and governance drive the decision.
Use the next actual brief
Create the presentation or document you need on Free. Record where the starter credits, badge or missing control interrupts the work.
Inspect the delivered file
Export the required format and open it where the recipient will use it. Check fonts, layout and editability against the brief.
Buy the lowest plan that resolves the gap
Select Plus for a clean export, Pro for its controls, or Ultra for its capacity and models. Measure credit use through a monthly cycle before paying the annual charge.
