About this prompt pack

Build a coordinated pattern family by telling the model how motifs should repeat, turn and connect. These eight prompts move from painted fig swatches to a border, two print scales and a labelled carton, with notes on the decisions each image demonstrates. Swap in your own subject and carry the placement rules into your next project.

What you'll learn

The motif family — A small, repeatable motif family gives every later arrangement a shared vocabulary. The regular grid makes spacing easy to judge.
Let the motifs turn — Rotation removes a single reading direction. Three motif sizes let the small flowers occupy gaps without crowding the large figs.
Give the stems a route — Continuous stems connect separate motifs into longer routes. Clear attachments make the pattern read as a growing structure.
Make room for the label — A reserved label area lets the motif pattern carry personality while the product name stays readable. The box tests the design across more than one face.
Stagger the columns — Moving the middle column creates a diagonal rhythm from the same motif family. The arrangement becomes less like a row of stamps.
Pair the directions — Opposing sprigs create a deliberate two-way layout. It gives the pattern two readable orientations while preserving an ordered rhythm.
Turn the border — A border needs a plan for each corner. Curving the stem and rotating its attached motifs carries the pattern around the frame.
Change the print scale — The same motif family behaves differently when its printed size changes. Comparing two applications makes density and lost detail easier to spot.
