Off WordPress, onto signal: organic traffic grew 400x.
Pinnacle Digest is an investment publication and video channel followed by more than 100,000 investors, covering macro shifts, commodity cycles, and emerging ventures. I moved the publication off a slow, aging WordPress install, rebuilt its architecture around the reader, and built the AI-assisted content engine behind its growth. Organic traffic since the relaunch is up 400x.

A legacy archive turned into a growth engine.
Years of analysis lived in a WordPress install that had accumulated plugins, technical debt, and load times readers would not wait for. The archive was an asset the infrastructure was actively burying: slow pages, muddled categories, and rankings that underperformed the quality of the writing.
The rebuild treated the publication as two systems. Readers get a fast, browsable site with clean category architecture and newsletter capture at its center. The editorial team gets a content engine: an eleven-stage AI pipeline with a human control room that takes a topic from research to a publish-ready, search-optimized article.

The archive was the asset.WordPress was the anchor.
A publication with years of URLs cannot simply move: every article, category, and image path carries rankings that die if a redirect is missed. And leaving WordPress only pays off if what replaces it also fixes the growth problem, because an investment publication lives or dies by its newsletter list and its search presence.
- Years of articles and URLs to migrate without losing rankings
- Page loads slow enough to bleed readers and rankings
- A large archive with no browsable structure
- Content production too slow to compete on search

What I built, and how it came together.
The buildA full migration, a rebuilt reader experience, and an AI content engine.

The site moved to a fast managed platform with a clean information architecture. Behind it, a pipeline of specialized AI stages produces research-grounded drafts a human reviews at every step.
- Full content migration off WordPress with a complete redirect map
- Category architecture: venture capital, crypto, technology, mining, energy, economy
- Pinnacle TV video integration and newsletter capture throughout
- Eleven-stage AI content pipeline with a human control dashboard
- Live search data wired into the writing process itself

The content enginebehind the 400x.
Speed fixed the bleeding. The growth came from producing genuinely competitive articles at a cadence a small editorial team could never sustain by hand, without ever publishing unreviewed AI output.
Eleven stages, one operator
A topic enters a pipeline of specialized stages: input refinement, keyword expansion, live keyword metrics, a snapshot of what currently ranks, competitive SEO analysis, outline, draft, polish, cover art, live-web research grounding, and publish. Each stage is a separate model pass with its own job, and each streams its output to a dashboard where a human can inspect, correct, or rerun it before the next stage starts.
Research before rhetoric
The pipeline reads the actual search landscape before a word is written: what people search, what volume it carries, and what the current top results actually say. Drafts are grounded in live web research rather than the model's memory, which is what lets a finance publication publish at cadence without publishing nonsense.
The migration that held
The WordPress exit moved the full archive onto a fast managed platform with a complete redirect map, so years of URLs kept their rankings while shedding their load times. The old install's category sprawl collapsed into six clean desks readers can actually browse.
One funnel, everywhere
Every page works toward the same conversion: the free weekly newsletter. Capture sits in the header, in articles, and at natural pauses, backed by the publication's own credibility markers rather than pop-up pressure.
Video beside the words
Pinnacle TV brings the interview channel into the same architecture as the writing, so a subscriber moves between a market thesis and the founder interview behind it without ever leaving the funnel.
The operator stays in charge
The pipeline drafts; it never publishes on its own. Every stage streams to a dashboard where an editor inspects, corrects, or reruns it before the next stage starts, which is what makes AI cadence compatible with a finance publication's standards.

The publication now loads fast, reads clean, and grows on search instead of despite it. The traffic multiple is measured from the site's own analytics since the relaunch; the audience figures are Pinnacle Digest's own.
